Mebar provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers for transportation services. We operate primarily in Bangladesh, serving major cities including Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our services, you must register for an account with accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Driver Requirements

To become a Mebar driver in Bangladesh, you must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Bangladesh driving license
• Vehicle registration and insurance
• Clean driving record
• Background verification
• Vehicle inspection and safety standards compliance
• Mobile phone with internet connectivity

5. Payment Terms

Payment for rides is processed through our platform using various methods including credit cards, mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket), and cash payments.

• Ride fares are calculated based on distance, time, and demand
• Additional charges may apply for tolls, airport pickups, and peak hours
• Cancellation fees may apply under certain circumstances
• Refunds are processed according to our refund policy

6. Safety and Conduct

All users must adhere to our community guidelines and maintain respectful behavior:

• No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
• Comply with all local traffic laws and regulations
• No smoking, drinking, or illegal activities during rides
• Respect property and personal belongings
• Report any safety concerns immediately

7. Liability and Insurance

Mebar maintains commercial insurance coverage for rides booked through our platform. However, users acknowledge that transportation involves inherent risks.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Bangladesh data protection laws. This includes location data, payment information, and communication records necessary for service provision.

9. Service Availability

Mebar services are available in select areas of Bangladesh. Service availability may vary based on:

• Geographic location and network coverage
• Driver availability in your area
• Weather conditions and traffic situations
• Local events and government restrictions
• Technical maintenance and updates

10. Intellectual Property

The Mebar platform, including its software, trademarks, logos, and content, is owned by Mebar Technologies Ltd. Users are granted a limited license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Mebar reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or fraudulent activity.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
